My client is part of a large, global organisation who specialise in colourants used predominately within the food and beverage industry.
Role Purpose:
Directly responsible for leading the Manufacturing, Sales, Material Management and Customer Service, and Technical Operations in a safe and effective manner. Responsible for relevant and timely communication with Board of Directors, all associates, and with customers and suppliers when appropriate.
Principal Responsibilities:
Responsible for ensuring that the plant production and production related areas function effectively through excellent leadership including cost management, associate relations management and continuous improvement.
Full P& L responsibility
Responsible for HR function including staffing, training, recognition, performance feedback, corrective/disciplinary action when required
Ensure technical management of the plant. Recommend capital expenditure projects to board. Analyse plant and facilities needs, safety, environmental compliance, maintenance and other related activities
Responsible for plant costs and Continuous Improvement program
Candidate Profile:
Ideally General Management experience within the Food, Beverage or Manufacturing environment. Excellent oral and written communication talents coupled with the ability to work with and develop individuals. Experience in managing production processes preferred.
