    Our Client
    Is a specialist recruitment agency within the manufacturing industry with offices in the North they have built a successful team with a strong belief in client and customer care. They provide bespoke recruitment services to a wide range of clients. With a strong presence in the manufacturing market they have built partnerships with some major clients in the market. Their approach is to provide the highest quality service building lasting relationships with clients. Over 70% of the work that comes into this office is exclusive/retained business.

    The Role
    Involves both hands on recruitment consultancy as well as the day to day supervision and motivation of a team of 6 resourcing consultants.
    Key responsibilities
    • Drive the team to hit daily and weekly objectives as agreed with the Operations Director
    • In conjunction with the Operations Director, hold monthly performance development reviews (PDR) to assess consultant’s strengths, areas for improvement and ongoing training needs
    • Work with the HR/CI Director to ensure further training is arranged for consultants where necessary
    • Hold regular one to one meetings with resourcing consultants to discuss weekly progress
    • Mentor and coach consultants through any process control issues that may otherwise affect successful placement
    • Manage day to day HR issues for each consultant
    • Through communication with the Operations Director, keep fully aware of monthly business activity and financial targets
    • Suggest new ideas and initiatives to encourage a positive working environment and enhanced team motivation
    • Approve consultant’s written documentation where necessary before it is sent to client
    • Ensure quality and customer service levels are met and exceeded

    The Successful Candidate;
    • Previous recruitment experience on a permanent desk, ideally within manufacturing
    • Experience of Managing a team
    • Car Driver
