My client has been established for many years who offer a wide range of services, support opportunities within the business community and recruiting for an experienced Training and Development Manager working full time 35 hours per week, salary range from £25-£28k.
Skills / Knowledge needed:
Must hold V1 (or equivalent) award and preferable a teaching qualification. Knowledge of apprenticeship and other funding streams, the ability to evaluate and produce a honest and robust self assessment report and action plan the training section, excellent communication and negotiation skills needed, experience of implementing, monitoring and evaluating training policies and procedures, self motivated, proactive training manager with a proven track record. IT literate, Microsoft Office, able to develop and maintain effective working relationships with a wide variety of partners and organisations.
You will be required to develop and manage the training department, ensuring delivery exceeds awarding bodies, quality standards and Ofsted requirements. Support the general manager in the implementation of strategies and procedures, deputise in the absence of GM. Project manage monitor and evaluate training programmes including LSC mainstream contract and ESF, policy and procedure improvement, develop new methods of delivering teaching and learning programmes, support the Ofsted inspectors, self assessment report and audit processes.
