    My client is a provider of specialist equipment predominately used within the building, engineering, construction industry.

    A vacancy has arisen for a National Account Manager who will be responsible for managing the relationship between my client and a portfolio of key clients in order to achieve profitable revenue growth and retention of business.

    Accountabilities:
    Retain existing clients and increase profitability of their business in accordance with annually agreed targets.
    Develop long term relationships with customers, deepening their knowledge of the business and their organisation.
    Ensure signed agreements are in place for each customer in order to provide a sound contractual record.
    Maintain an accurate customer profile and record any changes.
    Effectively manage the debtor status of each customer by working closely with that customer and the companys credit team.
    Establish and maintain effective internal relationships in order to improve service provision.
    Sale of new agreements to strategic customers who require a formal trading relationship with more than one area of the companys business.
    Management and coaching for all sales and operational personnel for specific projects.
    Undertaking hospitality and entertainment activities within guidelines and policy
    Effectively prospect for potential new strategic account customers in line with agreed targets

    The successful candidate will ideally have experience within the Building, Construction or Engineering field coupled with a proven track record within Account Management and or Business Development.
