Working for one of the country's leading and longest established travel groups you will covering the North West and North East of the country to raise awareness of all brands in the retail trade, and to ensure it is consistently and actively sold through key travel agency partners.
Job Dimensions
No line management responsibilities.
Main responsibilities:
To raise awareness and increase sales volume through travel agency branches and call centres based in designated area.
Account Management of independent miniples and key independent agents.
To achieve sales targets.
To communicate campaigns and initiatives to trade, including brochure launches, sales incentives and competitions, KSPs and USPs, plus any tactical activity.
Attend and co-ordinate where applicable, trade events, road shows, agent training meetings, promotional events, focus days.
Deliver staff training to branches and call centres.
Submit regular sales reports.
Monitor the level of support all brands are given by branches and make recommendations to improve where appropriate (including: staff product knowledge, campaign awareness, brochure racking/positioning).
Regular/structured and accurate feedback of market information (including competitor information regarding on sale dates, brochure racking, window displays, competitor sales call activity, incentives).
Make recommendations to sales department for effective tactical activity.
Lead educational visits when applicable.
Maintain close communication with National Call Centre, Sales Support and Sales & Marketing Departments, and other sales departments within the Cosmos group of companies.
NB this role will involve regular overnight stays.
