My client is one of the leading North West training providers delivering a range of apprenticeships / NVQ qualifications, and are recruiting for an experienced Key Skills Lead.
Responsibilities: Implement a variety of strategies to support the companies basic and key skill requirements, assist advisers in the monitoring and support of learners, develop learning materials and training sessions for the delivery of key skills across a range of sectors, work with advisers to develop work based projects mapped to both the occupational and key skill requirements, develop key skills awareness sessions for internal staff, monitor the quality of training provision, be fully aware of industry specific standards and requirements, assist quality manager with business plan and contractual targets, conduct one to ones and appraisals with team members and monitor performance.
Qualifications: Key Skills practitioner award, Teaching / Training qualification, V1
Experience: Delivery of AON and COMMS level 2, support and motivate, knowledge of skills for life agenda, ability to map key skills into NVQ frameworks, management experience, prepared to achieve additional qualifications in line with funding requirements.
