My client a prestigious Liverpool city centre law firm is seeking an experienced Recruitment Manager to co-ordinate both internal and external recruitment activity throughout the business.
Candidates must ideally have a minimum of 2 years Legal HR Administration or Legal Recruitment experience.
****MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES****
RECRUITMENT ADMINISTRATION
* Co-ordinate recruitment campaigns within remit and provide support to Partners/Team Leaders throughout process ensuring best practice is followed
*Co-ordinate recruitment administration throughout process
*Liaise with employment agencies and build positive relationships. Negotiation of terms and regular review of agencies used to ensure best service is received.
*Liaise with agencies, publications and HRA's ensure all external and internal positions are published accurately and timely
* Responsible for recruitment files ensuring they are kept up to date and ensure all relevant documents are within the files
* Keep HR Manager up to date with recruitment activity
*Assist Payroll Officer with benchmarking internal and external salary information
* Preparing and sending out all relevant correspondence such as 'Inviting to interview', 'Unsuccessful after interview' and 'Offer letters and contracts of employment'.
*Notify HR Administrator when start date is confirmed for new starter
* Co-ordination and response management for speculative position enquiries - inputting C.V.'s onto database and provided monthly reports to team
* Responsibility of dealing with any external reference requests for ex Weightmans employees and new entrants
TRAINEE SOLICITOR PROCESS
* Co-ordinate response and acknowledgement to external applicants by letter/email
*Co-ordinate prep for interviews and assessment centres
*Administer correspondence to successful and unsuccessful candidates
*Administer funding for successful trainees
* To perform necessary administration for current trainees on the graduate programme
STARTERS & LEAVERS PROCESS
*Liaise with HRA's and co-ordinate process of offer, contract and acquisition of satisfactory references, if unsatisfactory, take relevant action
*Advise Team Coach of agreed start date, ensure training is set up via Training team and equipment is available for new starter
*Co-ordination of probationary period process, advising Partners/Team Leaders of those employees who are due a probationary review.
REPORTING
* To provide monthly reports on recruitment activity to HR Manager
*To assist with production of reports required on ad hoc basis as per requests
The firm are offering an excellent salary of between £20-22,000 plus superb benefits.
