My client is one of Britains most recognised house builders, providing quality homes in attractive locations throughout England and Wales. They are now looking for an Assistant Buyer.

The Role

An excellent position has arisen for a large residential housing developer in the South Manchester area for an Assistant Buyer. My client has a turnover of £100M per annum and are currently operating up to 10 different sites around Greater Manchester & Cheshire

The Candidate

The Successful Candidate will have a minimum of 12 months experience as a Trainee/Assistant Buyer particular within the construction industry. They will be required to Assist a Senior Buyer in sourcing and pricing up materials making sure all the appropriate materials are on time for site usage and within budget scales.

The Candidate will also be required to liaise with sub contractors, and estimators to ensure project costs are accurate. This role requires the individual to be an excellent planner and time saver to make sure all schedules for forthcoming sites are within budget and ontime.

The Package

My Client offers £20,000- £25,000 (6 month reviews) with a very attractive package including a Company Car / Allowance Scheme , contributable pension, Healthcare , Guaranteed Bonus and other excellent benefits.
