Requires good experience of glass design principals, producing working
drawings to a fully resolved design stage for client/architect approval, as well as manufacture details and cutting list schedules for fabrication.
The role will involve liaison with architects, designers and suppliers to confirm detailed requirements, issue and receive RFI's, assist with site measures and make sure we comply with Building Regulations, British Standards & test parameters etc.
It will also involve close liason with the project manager responsible to ensure that we and our clients adhere to agreed design and approval deadlines, including the issue of correspondence relating to any delays or changes that may affect cost or programme, where necessary to protect the company contractually.
The Candidate will ideally be a commercially/contractually minded individual, able to take ownership of a project and have good technical knowledge and experience of Structural Glass systems, and glass facades. Must have AutoCAD experience - AutoCAD 2007/2008
Hours - 8.00am - 5.00pm
Lunch - 1 hour
Holidays - 20 days + stats
