We are currently recruiting an experienced Quality Inspector to work within a manufacturing company based on the Wirral. Working 37 hour week, must be flexible to start immediately for a period of 3 months.
Your day to day duties will include:
1.Measure/inspect all components and assemblies produced
2.First off inspection
3.Final inspection.
4.Prepare all documentation for traceability records.
5.Prepare all documentation for release of parts.
6.Authority to sign/stamp all release certifications to customer.
7.Advise production on errors found, together with possible solutions.
8.Use all inspection equipment including Ferranti, Status Co-ordinate Measuring Machine, ultrasonic thickness meters and general measuring equipment.
9.Prepare first article reports, concessions and other documentation required by customer.
10.Programme Status CMM from drawings and/or electronic model.
11.Working knowledge of gauge calibration and measurement.
The successful applicant will have the ability to programme CMM and a strong background in engineering.
