Full Description:
BIRCHWOOD, WARRINGTON
Customers quite rightly see our people as trusted sources of advice. So if you’re the kind of person who loves to make a great impression, and use your own personality to add that special touch to helping people, this could be right up your street.
What will you do?
You’ll be answering all sorts of calls and queries from our high-value customers — about tariffs, technical details, or information on new products and services, for example. Whatever the question, however, it’ll be up to you to solve it in your own way. You’ll be working in small teams and often dealing with the same customers — which makes the job both more challenging and more satisfying.
Training
Before you start, we'll give you ten weeks of training (14 for part-time), which runs from Monday to Friday on two shifts – either 7:30am-3:30pm or 3:30pm-11:30pm. This is designed to make sure you’re absolutely happy with what you’re doing before you start, as well as give you the knowledge about our company, our products and our services that you’ll need to really help our customers.
What you need
You’ll need to have demonstrable customer service skills to perform this role and have basic computer skills. Most important is a positive, mature attitude, a desire to help and a willingness to learn and be part of a strong team.
Hours
It’s a 24-hour operation here, but with the range of hours (as detailed below) there should be a shift pattern that suits you.
Late shift – 37½ hours full-time
You’ll work 7½ hour shifts, for five out of seven days of the week. Earliest start is 5pm.
Day shift – 37½ hours full-time
You should be available to work between 6:30am and 10:30pm, working either four days of 9 hours each plus one day of 3½ hours or five days at 7½ hours a day.
Part-time – 25 hours
The shifts here are 5 hours across five days — a total of 25 hours per week. This runs on a three week rotating pattern and includes weekend working. Earliest start is 5:00pm and latest finish is midnight.
Salary
£14,000 (pro rata for part-time roles), rising to £15,500 after six months’ probation period. There are also some shift allowances.
