Job Description

Job Title: Assistant Manager with Special Responsibilities in the Domestic Department 

Status: Permanent 

Hours: 1519 annualised hours  

Salary: £8.88 per hour

Reaseheath College is one of the premier land-based College located in South Cheshire with an enviable reputation for quality and partnerships with industry.  The College has a beautiful rural setting situated amongst 330 hectares of farms, parklands, lake, woodland and sports facilities, including its own golf course. 

Reaseheath College requires an Assistant Manager with Special Responsibilities in the Domestic Department to work as part of its busy Facilities team. The successful candidate will be required to undertake all duties associated with the role including managing a small team of staff at weekends, the ability to cover for the weekend chef as necessary and to assist the Domestic Manager in all other aspects associated with running a busy Domestic Department.

The role requires a flexible approach and ‘can do’ attitude in order to succeed in a very busy student facility which also caters for a wide variety of commercial functions.

The hours of work as we follows and are based on a 14 day working pattern:

7½ hours per day between the hours of 6:45am and 2:45 pm for 5 days per week and 11am to 7pm for 1 day per week over the 14 day rota.

The hours will also include alternate weekends covering Saturday and Sunday working 7.5 hours per day between 7am and 7.30pm.
