Job Description
My client, a large blue chip organisation in Macclesfield are seeking an in-house Legal Secretary/Audio Typist. Salary £16,000 - fantastic benefits.
You will work in the in-house legal department of this successful organisation, in a team of 4 and provide full support to two in-house lawyers. Duties include:
· Audio typing (typing various documents including, commercial contracts, emails, letters etc)
· Amending legal contracts using track changes in word
· Taking incoming calls to the department
· Organising meetings
· Diary management for two solicitors in the department
· Prepare powerpoint presentations
· Booking travel for the solicitors in the department
· Other admin duties including filing, photocopying, sending and collecting post, opening files, archiving files, ordering stationery, logging holiday leave for the department
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
· The legal department are looking for a secretary who has the ability to be professional at all times, work well under pressure, is hard working and committed to working as part of a team.
Required Experience & Qualifications
· Previous audio typing experience (typing speed of minimum 50wpm)
· Previous experience of using Microsoft Office (particularly Word, Outlook, Powerpoint, Excel and Internet Explorer)
Some secretarial experience, ideally legal but not essential
