This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a world class PET research centre. The University of Manchester's Wolfson Molecular Imaging Centre is a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to the exploration of physiological processes via PET, with the primary focus being oncology and neuroscience.
The QA Manager will be responsible for the Centre's Quality Management Systems and Quality Control Laboratory, which includes maintaining the legal and regulatory compliance associated with this multidisciplinary environment. You will manage the QA and QC Teams and be responsible for all aspects of quality, including validation of procedures, processes, batch release and equipment, investigation and reporting of incidents, and auditing. You will also be the site contact for external audits.
You will have a science degree or equivalent, along with extensive experience working in an MHRA regulated environment. You will have experience of managing compliance with GMP, GCP and GLP and managing and performing inspections and external audits. You will have excellent attention to detail and organisational skills and an ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people.
