Job Description
School of Chemistry

Reference: EPS/10727
This position is funded by the UK Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council and is available for up to 4 months from September 2010.
The research involves the development of novel theories for understanding the angular scattering of chemical reactions, using nearside/farside and complex angular momentum techniques. Some overseas travel may be necessary.
You must hold a PhD or equivalent in a relevant field and have experience in computational chemistry or physics. You must be familiar with Mathematica software, and knowledge of the quantum theory of chemical reactions is also essential. You must also possess good communication and presentational skills, and be prepared to travel abroad to attend conferences.
