Job Description
My client, a leading house hold name is looking to recruit a credit control clerk on a permanent basis.
The main purpose of the role is to maximise cash and minimise bad debt.
The key duties will include being able to ensure all work is completed in accordance with service deadlines. Ensuring the prompt collection of sales ledger accounts and other third party accounts via telephone and letter processes. Maintaining accurate records of collection actions as well as managing the unpaid cheque process to minimise any losses. You will also have to record, investigate and resolve invoice and payment queries with internal and external customers promptly.
The ideal candidate will also have a good standard of education including GCSE English and Maths (grade A - C) as well as being computer literate including a good working knowledge of MS Excel spreadsheets.
