Job Description
A hard working, enthusiastic Commis Chef is required to join this stunning hotel restaurant in Cumbria.
The Head Chef is looking for an eager commis to join their dedicated brigade. This hotel restaurant specialises in both Table D\' Horte and Al La Carte so, the successful candidate will be innovative, hard working and must be able to work well in a team. Working in the quality restaurant, as well as on banquets and weddings, you will support senior team members across the kitchen, all the while learning new skills and company standards and procedures.
Reporting to the Head Chef.
Applicants must be experienced in fast moving, quality restaurants, and in working with fresh produce. You will preferably have already embarked upon your career, and have some experience at volume and in using fresh produce. This kitchen is looking for a strong and capable chef who is looking to improve and learn new skills. Applicants should have or be working towards NVQ 1 and 2 and a Food Hygiene Certificate.
Applicants must currently reside within the UK.
In line with the requirements of the Asylum & Immigration Act 1996, all applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK. Documented evidence of the eligibility will be required from candidates as part of the recruitment process.
