Job Description
My client, a multi-million pound organisation in Manchester , Manchester are seeking a Pensions Administrator. £15,000 - £20,000 with bonus.
This multi million pound turnover business will pay for training, development and financial services exams and are offering excellent career progression. My client will invest in your future and offer career development in terms of developing your knowledge, training and CF exams are also on offer
As an Administrator within the team, you will be expected to deal with IFAs and process their requests. You will also deal with a wide range of enquiries from scheme members, employers, financial advisers, lawyers and investment managers. You will communicate meaningful and relevant information on request, or produce in-depth reports. Duties include:
Projections & statements
Amending existing records
Administering transfers
Fund switches
You will also liaise with scheme members, employers and investment managers. - Contact will predominantly be via telephone and email.- Opening up new SIPP accounts, sending out paperwork and acknowledgements
Applying pension transfers, transfers in drawdown, contributions and investment cheques
Cash and in-specie transfers out, contribution refunds
Processing applications for internal/external investments and arranging payment
Calculating client benefits, full/partial additional vesting, reviews
Death benefits, pension sharing orders
Processing property purchases from start to exchange and completion
Rent and loan reconciliation, VAT return, unauthorised payments
Answering calls, outbound calls and replying to emails - resolving queries
Processing the daily banking, checking credits and debits; reconciling bank accounts
Processing transfers out to other schemes
Liaise with clients, IFA, stockbrokers, surveyors, solicitors on a daily basis
Auditing client files
In order to be considered for this role, you must have:
Life and pensions administration experience from either an IFA, trustee or provider or administration experience within financial services. We would also look at administration experience within banking and retail banking.
Excellent numeracy and accuracy skills
An advantage if you have completed any of the FPC/CF papers
Good knowledge of financial services industry
Experience of working to tight deadlines
