The School of Mechanical, Aerospace and Civil Engineering has an exciting opportunity for an electronics and laser system technician to join its team of technical support staff. The main focus of the role will be the development, repair, construction and operation of specialised laser and electronic equipment for research and teaching using the full range of workshop and laboratory facilities in the School.
Applicants should have a HNC/D in electronics or a closely related discipline. Candidates who have completed a recognised apprenticeship in a relevant subject with post qualification work experience will also be considered.
