Job Description
School of Translational Medicine

You will provide technical support in a range of project specific research activities including running experiments and maintaining, using and teaching the use of research associated equipment. You will assist team members in ensuring that staff and students operate safe working practices ensuring health and safety compliance within the laboratories.
You should have GCSE's (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics and two additional qualifications at NQF level 3 (at least one of these should be in a Science related subject.) Substantial work experience as a Laboratory Technician and specific work experience in cell culture and FACS-analysis are essential requirements for the role.
This post is available immediately for a period of four years.
