My client is a speciality distributor of chemicals to the rubber and plastics industries based in Manchester.
They are currently looking for a Technical Sales Representative to join the sales team.
The role and person
The successful candidate will take on board responsibility for the North of the UK, maintaining current business levels by professional and timely account management whilst also accelerating sales growth into both new and existing accounts.
This position will suit either a field based salesperson or someone with relevant internal technical ability who wishes to leave the office environment for a more autonomous role.
Candidates from a polymer or resin environment will be of particular interest.
Other requirements for the role will include formal qualification to degree level, ideally in a scientific or technical discipline, good IT skills, clean driving license and the ability to manage your own time effectively. Needless to say you will be a people person with strong face to face sales skills and a professional persona.
Salary is market leading and to be discussed at interview, the package will include a company car and other benefits.
