This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Engineer to support and develop the engineering function at our client, improving machine availability & reliability through the implementation and co-ordination of a Planned Maintenance System.
Reporting into the Engineering Manager, you will be a key member of the engineering function on site, delivering a strategy to complete on-target production by maintenance of assets and availability of skilled resource. You will also support the engineering team on critical plant failures and be responsible for the successful attainment of engineering KPI’s.
You will have experience managing a multi-skilled engineering team and a proven track record in engineering, with a firm understanding of maintenance scheduling.
Key responsibilities for this role will be
• Implementation and ongoing management of a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CCMS)
• Provide support to the Engineering Function to ensure issues that reduce production output are dealt with quickly and effectively.
• Delivering projects that increase output, reduce costs, develop standardised work.
• Represent the manufacturing engineering team in liaising with other departments such as Operations, NPD & Quality as well as external suppliers and service engineers.
