Our client is based South Manchester and specialises in Overseas Import/Export.
They are now looking to recruit an experienced Import/Export Clerk to be responsible for European Operations.
Duties of the role will include:
Receiving bookings
Dealing with Hauliers, negotiating rates.
Dealing with Groupage and Full loads
Dealing with all related paperwork for both UK and European Loads
Liaising with customers, providing quotations
Producing invoices and processing invoice queries.
Candidates should have previous experience gained in a similar role and fully conversant with all Import/Export systems for both UK and Europe. You should have excellent customer service skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Packages.
