Our client is a highly successful social housing provider with properties in the West Lancashire area. Their current requirement is for a hands on Assistant Finance Manager take on an interim role with supervisory responsibility for the sales, rent and purchase ledgers.
The role would suit a candidate with ledger management skills, possible exposure to the rent ledger and excellent Excel skills.
Responsibilities will include:
- management of the accounts payable function
- overseeing payment runs
- managing the accounts receivable function including the raising of
invoices
- monitoring the company insurance processes
- overseeing the rent accounting system
- supervision of three staff
Advanced Excel skills are important as are the ability to hit the ground running and deal effectively with day to day accounting activities.
Candidates should be immediately available, enjoy challenge and be prepared to commit to the assignment.
