Our client is looking to recruit an experienced candidate to fulfil the following duties:
Product approval from pre-production to production.
Liaison with the factory, overseas offices, product development team and necessary areas of the business on all issues / approvals of pre-production and production samples to ensure all specifications are being followed.
Communicate all potential issues to the relevant areas of the business and work with the factories to resolve QA issues.
Ensure all products are tested to testing requirements and reports approved prior to shipment.
Assessing products to ensure they meet General Product Safety Requirements and all necessary standards.
Work with packaging and the product development team to ensure all packaging and labelling is correct.
Manage all pre-shipment inspections with the overseas offices.
Responsible for sealing procedures for their designated customer base which includes multiple high street retailers.
Point of contact for all QA issues.
Manage factory approval process.
Implementation of company supplier manual.
Travel to overseas facilities may be required
