One of our highly respected Public Sector clients based in North Manchester is currently looking for a Qualified Management Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis.
You will be involved in the preparation of the monthly management accounts, responsible for budget preparation, variance analysis and complex reconciliations. It will also include costing, cash flow forecasting, projections and liaising with senior management and budget holders.
The ideal candidate will have previously worked in the public sector environment and be confident to work on an individual basis using their own initiative although this is not essential. This is an excellent opportunity for you to develop and pursue a career in finance within a busy and friendly team.
