Bar Manager - £16,000 - Manchester - Bar manager + Bar manager Fast Growing HOTEL CHAIN!
Reporting to: F&B manager & General Manager
This fantastic hotel has just completed a major refurb and is now looking to push forward the wet sales within the Bar area. This opportunity would suit a experienced head Bar person or bar Supervisor looking for that next step up. This property is one of many new hotels across the UK and scope for progression is extremely healthy. With over 80 bedrooms and a new look conference suite this hotel has lots more to offer!
Duties:
To comply with all statutory and company regulations relating to health & safety, hygiene, conduct of employees, fire emergency procedures, security of premises and of property.
To be fully conversant with Liquor Licensing Laws and Regulations and ensure that there is no contravention of these laws by any staff.
To assist with staff training and development and to encourage them to up sell food and beverage, and to continuously monitor and check standards of work and correct when necessary.
To ensure Food & Beverage outlets follow hotel cash handling standards and you and all staff meet all the hotel audit requirements.
To ensure that all glassware, china and bar equipment is stored and used in the correct manner.
To carry out a monthly stock takes of all equipment, and place orders through Operations Manager to maintain a working par levels.
To ensure correct procedures are adhered to for requisitioning transfers and any other administration work involved.
To ensure that all guests receive good and prompt service and that all Food & beverages are served to the agreed standard.
To attend weekly Operations and F&B meetings communicating all information to staff in your department.
To ensure that your department meets fore casted business demands.
