Your role as an Account Manager will involve proactively managing customer relationships to protect current revenue whilst identifying opportunities to grow and develop existing customer potential in line with the commercial policies. Responsible for building excellent relationships with both internal and external customers to increase the profit by spotting opportunities. You will be responsible for increasing customer satisfaction and promoting a positive view of CHEP and the service they offer.
Your role will also involve utilising and producing reports to identify trends in customer activity, track customer profitability, account status & cycle times again to identify opportunities for the business.
Exceed growth targets within existing customer base, managing activities to meet budget targets and profitability levels and reinforce pool discipline with customers.
Skills needed
Suitable candidates must be graduate calibre or equivalent working experience within a Business to Business environment and have the ability to provide Sales/customer service duties and analysis information from customer information in order to spot opportunities and develop customer accounts.
You must be able to communicate effectively with customers and engage with them to understand their needs and offer solutions.
You must have a drive for results and maintain focus on tasks/goals and then can be relied upon to deliver working plans.
Must have the ability to organise and achieve assigned tasks and focus on activities to achieve results. Effective use of data and experience to formalise decisions and can clearly explain the rationale behind those choices.
You must have the ability to prioritise and understand what is urgent and react accordingly and be able to organise your work around delivering priority objectives.
