My client is an established firm of Licensed Insolvency Practitioners based in heart of Manchester City Centre. By only advising in the specialist areas of Business Recovery and Insolvency, the firm is able to provide a service which complements rather than competes with that of accountants and other professionals. As a result they can offer experienced corporate recovery professionals challenging and varied work combined with excellent opportunities for personal growth and professional development.
The position will focus primarily on Corporate Insolvency. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the Insolvency Team, including managing complex cases, managing the Insolvency team on a day to day basis, liaising with clients, solicitors, shareholders and other 3rd parties, allocating workloads, reviewing and signing off work. As Insolvency Manager you will work closely with the Partners, taking a strategic role in developing the department including matters such as marketing and recruitment, along with ensuring the smooth running of the department.
Applicants should have an in-depth understanding of corporate insolvency and should be able to offer high levels of technical support to staff on complex corporate cases, including dealing with CVA’s, CVL’s and MVL’s. Applicants should be able to demonstrate strong people management ability along with excellent client facing skills, and should possess good attention to detail and strong communication skills. Applicants should also have insolvency experience within a Firm of Chartered or Certified Accountants.
