A fantastic opportunity has arisen with a well established company in the South Lakes area that would suit a highly motivated, well organised person with a catering background.
Based in the most picturesque store in the Lake District. The Cafe is soon to have an exciting new upgrade.
We need an entrepreneurial manager who has a zest for life and wants to make this a destination cafe in the lakes.
- Managing staff
- Negotiating prices
- Organising events.
We are currently looking for a manager run and revamp a well established food outlet. You will need to be flexible with regards to working hours, and have excellent leadership skills.
The main responsibilities of the role are:
- Organising and managing the Cafe food and beverage system
- Purchasing and negotiating prices for supplies and arrangements for products and deliveries
- Recruiting and training staff, organising rotas and monitoring staff performance
- Ensure Health and Safety procedures are followed by staff in your control
- Duty Management
- Food preparation
- Customer service
- Organising events
You must be well organised, able to multi-task and to work under pressure. Experience in a management setting is desirable whilst experience in a catering background is essential for this role.
