Based Manchester Area
Kingsland Wines & Spirits is a well established and rapidly expanding company sourcing wines globally and bottling and supplying both wines and spirits to the UK retail trade. With five bottling lines and bag-in-box capability there has been significant recent investment in all areas of the business including people, plant and site development.
Recent business growth has resulted in the need to strengthen our Finance team to maintain the high level of service required. As a result of this we are now looking to recruit for the positions of:
Assistant Bond Manager
(Salary circa £24K)
Reporting to the Bond Manager, the role is to ensure all company accounting and HM revenue and customs legislative requirements are met. The ideal candidate should have experience in the following areas:
• Maintaining detailed records of the movement and stockholding of bonded stock
• Keeping up to date with all relevant changes in HMRC regulations
• Ensuring all returns and documentation are submitted to HMRC in accordance with HMRC deadlines
• Monitoring liquid losses and gains in transit and in storage/operations
• Producing export documentation to accompany despatches to overseas
• Processing of payments of excise and customs duties
The successful candidate should have experience of working in a bonded environment with excellent administration skills with excellent attention to detail. Good IT skills are essential with particular emphasis on Excel/working with spreadsheets.
