Insurance Company based City Centre is looking for a Key Client Manager. Candidates wishing to apply should have previous experience within the Insurance Sector at Senior Level.
The purpose of this role is to successfully lead the Area in implementing an effective Key Client development and retention programme with strategic partners who are defined as clients contributing 50k and over.
The role:
To retain the existing client portfolio in order to meet area targets
Develop Key Client new business opportunities through building close relationships with national partners
Significantly raise the profile of the client to ensure that the company is seen as a key player within the large SME, Mid Market and Corporate Business sectors.
To raise the capability of sales skills/relationship management and underwriting in the area through coaching individuals and teams within your area.
Support the Area Manager Team with strategic planning
To work with and co-ordinate key internal stakeholders on behalf of the area, in particular, claims, risk management, head office underwriting, finance and marketing.

Skills Required:
ACII Preferred
Proven experience of relationship management at senior levels up to and including Director level
Extensive Commercial underwriting experience
Proven high level coaching and mentoring skills
Strong influencing, negotiation and business skills
A strong understanding of the UK commercial lines market across strategic, national and distribution booking channels
Extensive experience of managing the underwriting of large commercial lines accounts.
