Electrical Maintenance Technician - Excellent salary and benefits
Salary - £27,000 basic plus excellent overtime rates
Wrexham
Shifts 4 on 4 off, days and nights
My client a large manufacturer in the Wrexham area are looking for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician.
Skills required:
*Strong proven background in Electrical Maintenance with proven technical track record i.e. developed from indentured apprentice to technician.
*Conversant with modern maintenance techniques and be capable of supporting continuous improvement including planned preventative maintenance.
*Experience with PLC's, Siemens S5, S7 as well as Hitachi systems.
*Knowledge of all modern Health and Safety legislation and their impact maintenance activities.
*Experience of working with; confined space, heights, manual handling.
*Experience/Knowledge of other aspects of engineering desirable.
*Experience of project work desirable.
Qualifications required
*Minimum of an National Certificate in Electrical Engineering / HNC preferred
*Indentured Apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering
The ideal candidate needs to be hands on, practical and committed. Flexible and energetic and willing to adapt to new technologies. Robust and ambitious. Confident in their ability, whilst highly analytical and creative. The candidate must be experienced in high volume manufacturing industry, preferably in industries such as sugar, salt, smelting steel etc. They are also looking for a team player who can act independently when required getting the job done. A strong communicator who is highly motivated.
