An exciting Management Accountant vacancy has arisen from one of our leading clients.
Based in Hyde, this global FMCG group are wanting to recruit someone who
will be responsible for controlling Gross Profit within the company, through analysis, communication and process improvement.
KEY DUTIES include:
Weekly monitoring of revenue against target with actions to address any shortfall
Costing of new cabinets in conjunction with the Supply Chain Manager
System maintenance of inventory items
Gross Profit analysis and identification of cost saving opportunities
Communication of findings to managers in the business to influence the profitability of Total Refrigeration
Responsible for the gross profit revenue and costs at the month end.
Running the Month End timetable and co-ordinating inputs
Working closely with the Finance Manager to develop the skills of all of the team.
External reporting of results to Unilever
Forecasting of gross profit
Compilation of the Latest View from own gross profit work and fixed cost work of other members of the team.
Compilation of the Monthly Results Presentation
Knowledge of essential Financial Administrator tasks and ability to cover them
Providing full cover for the Finance Manager as necessary
THE PERSON:
Graduate calibre with management accountant experience , preferably with CIMA/ACCA qualification
Knowledge and experience of Microsoft , including databases
Used to working in small teams and being flexible
Problem solver
Strong organisation skills
